Feedback: BMW 1 series 2007 -AKL (add keys lost)
Removed ECU, read ISN from ECU on the bench using Gbox2 and Autel MaxiIM IM608
(connection diagram is on the programmer),(taken a pic of ISN),
reinstalled ECU, went to IMMO on 608, did AKL and entered ISN from ecu,
used “code via programmer”, inserted new into xp400, key data write
back, key coded, starts vehicle, but had red steering wheel light on the
dash, did ELV syn. JOB DONE!. The total time taken from start to finish
was 40min..(including removing and reinstall of ECU)
Do not use the ISN from the cas3 unit, it has to be ISN from ECU. I learned the hard/long way on a previous job….lol
