Autel IM508 IM608 Calculate 2021 GM Security Verification Code Guide

How to get the body module security verification code when programming 2021 GM smart keys via Autel MaxiIM tablets? This is an instruction to guide on calculation procedure for Autel IM508, Autel IM608 & IM608 Pro key programmer. Workable for 2020-2021 GM Cadillac, GMC, Chevy, Buick add key & all key lost. What’s Autel GM Security Verification Code Calculation?
It was reported that 24-digit security verification code calculation service of GM vehicles 2020-2021 CANFD protocol was not responded in time since July, 2021. Whereupon, Autel team had blocked the menu.

Mainly due to the strong requests from users, Autel decided to re-open this function. Now Autel after-sales team can help to calculate the 24-digit security verification code when immo programming. The calculation tool can only be placed in China, and needs to remotely control Autel China server to do calculation via Teamviewer.

Software Version Required
GM IMMO program V3.61 or higher

GM IMMO Calculation
1.Go to IMMO menu to identify car model >> Keyless system(CANFD) >> Add smart key/ All smart key lost.

2.Ensure the VCI is connected to the CANFD adapter, press START/STOP button once.

3.Send the ECM application code & VIN to Autel after-sales to obtain ECM security verification code.
Note: DO NOT exit this interface during the query.

4.Enter the ECM security verification code which are getting from Autel after-sales. Press “OK”.

5.Send the BCM application code & VIN to Autel after-sales again.

6.Enter the ECM security verification code again.

7.Finally close the drive door & press OK. IM508/IM608 tablet will configure system & process add key/all key lost.
Done.
